Overview
Polhena Diving Center is established in 2016 And is a PADI certified dive resort. We are one of the very few scuba diving centers in Sri Lanka that’s focused on marine conservation through various initiatives and research. Polhena Diving Center is a small but proud member of the Sri Lankan PADI Diving industry who is an active contributor for ProjectAware submitting dive site data and coral reef health reports. We enjoy getting our clients involved in our conservation programs and inspiring them to be the ambassadors for the ocean. We offer: SCUBA DIVING FOR BEGINNERS FUN DIVES DISCOVERY SCUBA DIVING PADI COURSES SNORKELING TRIPS We conduct all levels of PADI Courses from DSD through to Divemaster Level. We can teach in English and Sinhalese. We are fully equipped with all sizes of rental dive equipment and running our dives and PADI Courses with our 19m and 23m diving boats. Our daily dive operations happen mainly around the beautiful and serene village of Madiha, a stone’s throw from the polhena cove, where the grown coral reef softens the peak waves so that it is safe to swim and makes perfect for snorkeling. Turtles and lots of fish are a familiar sight. In general, we are diving in small groups with max. 6 Fun Divers and one Dive Guide (Dive Master or Dive instructor). We also offer Day and Night Snorkeling Trips in our beautiful Polhena Reef
